Flipleaf was established in Ireland in 2008 with a view to providing you with a quality and low cost means of displaying your magazines, brochures, catalogues etc online in digital format.

What does Flipleaf do?
It provides people with the facility to display their publications on the internet using an exciting alternative to that provided by a typical PDF. Using Flipleaf, your publication can be displayed in the way it was designed and intended to be viewed, that is, in a virtual book format whereby you can flip the pages as you browse a publication rather than having to scroll up and down and over and back. Who can use Flipleaf?
Flipleaf is of use to anyone who has something to publish and who would like to avail of this very affordable and revolutionary method of showing off their work! The types of publications are endless but include some of the following:- brochures, documents, newsletters, magazines, newspapers, portfolios, catalogues, manuals, prospectuses, manuscripts, yearbooks, journals, comics or reports.
How does it work?
It’s simple! You don’t have to be a programmer to use Flipleaf. All you have to do is simply OPEN AN ACCOUNT and upload and name your publication! On confirming your satisfaction with your flipbook, we will send you the web address at which you and your readers can view your creation. The whole process takes a matter of minutes. How much does it cost?
Flipleaf operates a credit system of payment whereby one credit is required for each page of your publication. However, to start you off, as soon as you open an account, you will automatically receive 100 FREE credits! How much each page or credit costs thereafter depends on the number of credits purchased, though they can cost as little as €0.60 per page and less if you buy in bulk! What are the other advantages of using Flipleaf?
· Display your graphically designed publications the way they were intended to be seen, as mentioned above.
- Publish immediately without having to engage your web developer.
- Reach a wider audience by displaying your publication with Flipleaf, as considerably more of the world’s PC’s are equipped to view Flash (used by Flipleaf) than PDFs. As such, you remove the requirement for your readers to download and install a PDF Reader.
- Flipbooks are viewable in standard web browsers and no special plug-ins or added steps are needed.
- Access stats on the number of Readers that view each of your publications.
- You do not need to have a website to display your publications using Flipleaf.
- We will provide you with a sub-domain name (www.Flipleaf.com/username) at which all of your publications will be displayed.
- If you own a website, you have the choice to link it to your Flipleaf sub-site or to embed your Flipleaf sub-site within your site.
- Your readers can easily navigate through your publication (they simply click on the corners or drag and drop the page).
- Every word in the document is indexed and searchable, allowing for quick and easy sourcing of information using Flipleaf’s search facility.
- Your readers can also:
- Zoom in for greater detail.
- Send a link to a friend.
- Browse the contents of your publication - thumbnails of each page are provided.
- Your entire publication (every word!) will be equipped to be indexed by all of the major search engines (Google, Yahoo etc).
- Flipleaf is environmentally friendly - we hope that you'll use less paper and lower your printing costs while exposing your publication to a wider audience.
